NJCHA Mission and Goals

Our Mission

The New Jersey College Health Association was organized in 1981 to serve as a professional organization for individuals who provide health education and care to members of the New Jersey higher education community and to serve as a mechanism by which institutions of higher education and their health services programs improve the health of those they serve. Today, NJCHA has grown to represent over 60 members and 23 institutions of higher education in New Jersey.

Our Goals

  • Foster high-quality standards of health care that are responsive to the needs of the higher education community.
  • Provide continuing education, information, sharing, knowledge, and support to college health professionals.
  • Provide channels of communication for the Association and its members with the Mid-Atlantic College Health Association (MACHA), the American College Health Association (ACHA) and other appropriate health organizations.
